If a document is missing from the planning application or a piece of evidence is incomplete, the authority asks for more – and the process is delayed. Which documents are needed depends on the federal state and on the project. This is exactly where AI can take work off your hands in work stage 4.
How the AI works
The process has three steps:
- The practice uploads the planning application documents.
- The AI checks them for completeness against the state’s regulations on planning application documents and pre-checks typical points: setback areas, parking spaces, escape routes.
- Critical questions are answered by several AI models. Where they contradict each other, this is shown.
What the practice gets
Before submission, a check report – with a source for every note. So the practice sees what each note is based on and can check it itself.
What the practice decides
The practice is responsible for the planning application documents and submits the application. The AI takes over cross-checking and documentation; the decision stays with the practice.
How we bring it into your practice
In AI Consulting we clarify which regulations on planning application documents and which check points matter for your projects. In AI Implementation we set up the right tool and connect it to your project files – or develop the check if no tool covers your requirements.
