How we work – AI that takes hold in your practice
AI can take a lot of work off an architecture practice’s hands. To do that reliably, it needs two things: a clear framework from architecture – and someone who brings it into the practice’s daily work and keeps it up to date there. Both are our job.
The starting point
Why general AI is not enough for architecture
General AI tools are powerful – but they know neither the HOAI nor your templates, nor your federal state’s regulations on planning application documents. Their answers sound confident even when they are wrong. Anyone who takes them over unchecked into design, cost planning or permits carries a risk that nobody in an architecture practice wants to carry.
And even a good tool goes unused if it does not fit the practice’s workflows and nobody knows how to check its results. That is why we work by four principles – and in four services.
Our principles
Tool-neutral. Standards-based. Cross-checked. Traceable.
Tool-neutral
We are not tied to any AI tool. For every task we look at what is available on the market and choose from your practice’s point of view – by workflows, data and data protection, not by provider. Only when nothing fits do we develop it ourselves.
Standards-based
We do not ask an AI open questions. We break every task down into structured checking steps – following the HOAI work stages (Leistungsphasen), DIN standards and the building codes of the German federal states. This way the AI works within the framework that architecture sets – whatever tool is behind it.
Cross-checked
For critical questions we do not rely on a single AI model. The same question goes to models from different providers; their answers are compared and weighed against each other. The result is the best-argued answer – and every contradiction stays visible.
Traceable
Every note names its basis: the drawing, the regulation, the document. No result goes to the client or to an authority unchecked – your practice checks it, signs it off and takes responsibility. AI-generated images and texts are labelled as such.
Cross-checked
In architecture, quality comes from weighing up perspectives. For us, the same is true of AI.

Four services, one path

AI Consulting
We start with what your practice really needs: we look at your workflows per work stage, compare the tools that come into question and agree with you which data may be processed, and how. Your team learns on its own tasks what AI can do and how to check the results.

AI Implementation
We set up the chosen tool for your practice, connect it to your software – CAD, cost planning and tendering software, project files – and adapt it to your templates, drawing codes and checking steps. Tested on a live project before it goes into daily use.

Managed AI
After the roll-out we stay at your side: we make sure your AI systems work properly, updates arrive checked, problems are solved and new requirements are put into practice – with one named contact person.

AI Product Development
If there is no suitable tool for a task, we develop it: discovery, a prototype on your projects, development according to our principles, roll-out in the practice – and Managed AI afterwards.
