Stepped design with a view – modern Aachitecture with perspective
This family villa was built on a 268-square-meter plot, measuring 20 by 13.4 meters. Particular emphasis was placed on the design of the outdoor spaces. Projecting terraces merge with the building structure and extend the living space outward. The design process focused primarily on the terraces, the arrangement of floors, and the smooth transition between volumes and terrace areas. The stepped layout and generous outdoor spaces contribute significantly to this concept. The building was originally planned as a four-story structure. However, due to the protruding south-facing terraces, the building appeared less tall and elongated. During the design phase, the number of floors was reduced to three in order to comply with local building regulations. At the same time, the positioning, dimensions, and volumes of each unit were optimized. Material choices included exposed concrete with white cement binder, white plastered surfaces, and wood. The final phase of the project involved detailing the façade design, including elements such as window frames, railings, plantings, and other architectural features.
