Renovation of an existing office
Client vision and design approach
Efficient transformation of a traditional office for contemporary use by a start-up team
Insight into the project
Transformation of a traditional office into a modern start-up workspace
During the renovation of this space, spatial relationships, circulation, separation, and interactions were preserved, while the focus of the redesign shifted more toward materials and elements. A notable feature of the office renovation plan is the ceiling design, which emphasizes lighting. Light strips on the ceiling connect the control room with other areas.
The micro-zones within this space include the management office, open office area, deputy’s office, reception, three staff offices, and the service and kitchen area. In the new layout, the management office was designed so that the space is divided into two functional zones in terms of movement, but still appears as a unified whole visually. This separation allows the management desk area and the conference table area to be used simultaneously and independently.
White and grey tones were used to create a clear, minimalist atmosphere. Natural elements such as shrubs and plants were also integrated to give the office a vibrant, user-friendly character and to promote a pleasant working environment.
